No Installer.
No Files. No Problem.
We Reconnect Any System.
Your C-Bus installer is gone. The project file is lost. The original electrician has retired, closed or won't return calls. This is exactly what we do. As accredited C-Bus programmers, we connect to any system directly from the live bus — no original files needed — and restore full function.

How We Reconnect
Without the Original Files
Direct Network Connection
We connect a laptop running Schneider's C-Bus Toolkit directly to the C-Bus network at the switchboard. This gives us full read and write access to every unit on the network — no original files required.
Live Bus Reconstruction
We scan the live network to enumerate every unit, read its stored configuration, and build a new project file that accurately reflects what's installed. Group addresses, scene levels, schedules and output assignments are all recoverable from unit memory.
Programming Updates
Once we have a working project file, we can make any changes you need — new scenes, renamed buttons, added schedules, lighting level adjustments. Everything the original programmer could do, we can do.
Full Documentation Handover
We leave you with a documented project file you own. No more dependency on an installer. No more locked-in situation. You can engage any accredited C-Bus programmer for future changes.
What Happens
When You Call
Tell us what you've got
Describe the system as best you can — how many switches, what's working and what isn't, whether you have any documentation. We assess over the phone.
We attend and connect
On-site, we connect directly to the C-Bus network at the switchboard using Toolkit. We can see every unit on the network within minutes of arrival.
We document and repair
We rebuild the project file from the live bus, fix any faults found, and make any programming changes you want.
You leave with your own project file
We hand over a documented .cbz project file. You own it. You're no longer dependent on anyone for access to your own system.

Fixed — Fast
No runaround. No subcontractors. No second appointments.
Call or SMS
Describe your fault. We triage immediately and confirm attendance for the same day or next available slot. You speak directly with George — no call centres.
⏱ 5 minutesOn-Site Attendance
We attend with C-Bus Toolkit, test equipment, and common spare parts. The person on the phone is the person who shows up.
⏱ Same day where possibleFault Diagnosis
We connect to the network, read the system file, and trace the fault methodically. You get a clear explanation before any work proceeds.
⏱ Usually 30–60 minRepair & Restore
Most faults are fixed in a single visit. We carry common C-Bus spares and source directly from Schneider where needed. System documented before we leave.

Answers
How do I know if the C-Bus power supply has failed versus something else?
The clearest sign of a PSU failure is that all or most switches go dead simultaneously. If only one zone is affected, the fault is more likely in that zone's relay output unit or wiring. If ghost messages preceded the outage, that's a PSU failure profile. We confirm on-site with voltage testing.
Can you replace a failed C-Bus PSU on the same day?
In most cases, yes. We carry common C-Bus PSU models including the 5500PSUA and 5500PSUAD. If your site has an older or unusual PSU model, we'll source it from Schneider's distribution network and return promptly.
How long do C-Bus power supplies last?
The rated capacitor lifespan is typically 10–15 years. Real-world service life varies with operating temperature, load, and environmental conditions. PSUs from 2004–2012 are now well past their rated lifespan and are actively failing across Sydney.
My C-Bus was doing random switching before it stopped — is that related to the PSU?
Yes. Random switching (ghost messages) is one of the classic symptoms of a degrading PSU. As the output voltage becomes unstable, corrupted data packets appear on the network and are interpreted as commands by relay units. This is the precursor to complete PSU failure.
What happens if I leave a failing PSU in service?
A failing PSU can continue to damage adjacent network units by feeding them unstable voltages over time. It can corrupt network addresses in active units and — in the worst case — a shorted PSU can create a low-impedance path that stresses or damages multiple units downstream.
Do you cover the whole of Sydney for C-Bus PSU replacement?
Yes — Greater Sydney including CBD, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Inner West, Sutherland Shire, St George, Hills District, Parramatta and Western Sydney.
